Stein Quelle is the fulfillment of our dream! For nearly 42 (since 1968!) years we have worked towards having not only fine, healthy Schutzhund dogs that have the proper attributes, but toward providing a friendly customer/dog relationship, where questions are answered and doubts are eliminated. Here, not only is the paperwork provided to show you all the background is correct, but each pup is individually checked twice by our 19 vet service. Their reference, as well as over 100 customer references, is available upon request. We are blessed to have found acceptance, because of our love for the breed, by some of the very finest German Shepherd breeders in Germany. Along with them we have the goal of assuring you of the finest animals at prices that are fair to each purpose. Animals to bring the pride of ownership to all who love the breed.

Stein Quelle is proud to be a member of Team Fichtenschlag in Weissenbrunn, Germany. We have worked there for sixteen years exclusively with Bernd and Marco Ossmann, owners of Zwinger vom Fichtenschlag, one of Germany's top kennels, and owners of VA2 Holly vom Fichtenschlag. and VA7 Yonka vom Fichtenschlag. We are proud to be members of their club, O.G. Kronach, and work yearly there to prepare for the German Sieger show with some of the world's finest trainers; Wolfgang Hassgall, Helmut Wegner, and Wolfgang Wonder.
We have the honor of not only being the only Americans to work with a German Team, but also import only Schutzhun dogs and German Shepherd puppies chosen and individually tested by Fichtenschlag's owners. We own and raise high potential show prospects that we send to Germany for expert training, of our own stock and for our customers. Our breeding stock is composed of V-rated, Kor Klasse I sons and daughters of VA dogs only. Even our pet owners have these rare bloodlines whose beauty and behavior are, again, among the world's finest. We have been fortunate to have dealt with Robert Wagner, Don Johnson and numerous other celebrities in their quest for a true world class dog. That can protect them and play with their children and grandchildren but still be trusted around all types of people.
